How can Belbin Team Roles theory be used to unlock leadership potential?

To provide leaders with a more structured approach to understanding the unique contributions of each team member?

By identifying roles such as the natural leadership style of a Coordinator. The drive of the Shaper, the creative spark of a Plant, or practical execution of an Implementer. Then, Team leaders can begin to strategically align roles responsibilities to suit individual strengths.

It can transform a team, delivering tangible results by ensuring that every team member is aligned to delivering work that they are suited to. 

It can also help identify weaknesses and allow better allocation of tasks and responsibilities taking this into account.
