White Cube Consulting Limited is the Licensed Belbin Distributor for Scotland. We help organisations in Scotland, the UK and internationally to understand how their people behave at work and build high-performing teams.
Who We Are
White Cube Consulting is the Licensed Belbin Distributor for Scotland. We are an independently owned HR, recruitment and people development consultancy based in Aberdeen.
That means two key things.
Belbin reports, workshops and accreditation are provided by Scotland’s only Licensed Belbin Distributor, delivered by professionals who use the Belbin model daily.
Beyond Belbin, we can also provide support with a wide range of HR challenges including recruitment, leadership or organisational development.
We have been Belbin Accredited since 1999 and Licensed Distributor for Scotland since 2021.

Consultation first
We start by understanding the organisation, the team and what success would look like. Questions before recommendations, every time.
Honest diagnosis
An honest view of where the difficulty actually lies, even when that is not what you expected to hear. Belbin is not the answer to everything, and we will say so.
Tailored, never templated
Every workshop and every report debrief is built around the team in front of us, its context and its pressures. Nothing off the shelf.
Practical delivery
Sessions people can act on the next morning. We would rather give a team one change that sticks than a model they admire and forget.
Long-term partnership
Many of our client relationships run over several years and across several kinds of work. We invest in the relationship, not the project.
Accredited practice
Belbin accredited and BPS qualified in occupational testing, so assessment is handled to professional standards and interpreted properly.
Campbell Urquhart
Managing Director
Campbell co-founded White Cube Consulting in Aberdeen in 2016 and has led it since. He has more than 30 years’ experience in recruitment, outplacement and people development, helping organisations across Scotland, the UK and internationally make better decisions about people.
He works with clients on recruitment and selection, psychometric and behavioural assessment, leadership and management development, and career transition. Belbin often forms a key element of project delivery.
Qualifications and accreditations
- Member of the British Psychological Society (BPS)
- BPS / EFPA Level 1 and Level 2 Occupational Test User
- Belbin Team Roles Accredited, and Licensed Belbin Distributor for Scotland
- CIPD Certificate in Personnel Practice
Where We Work
We are based in Aberdeen and work with teams the length of Scotland, from Inverness and Aberdeen to Edinburgh, Glasgow and the Borders, as well as across the rest of the United Kingdom.
Workshops run in person wherever it is practical to get a team in one room, and online by Teams or Zoom where it is not. Reports can be completed from anywhere.
We have also delivered projects in seventeen countries across Europe, the Americas, Africa and Asia. Belbin travels well: the language of behaviour holds up across cultures, which is part of why organisations use it in international teams.
